In one of the toughest games of the season, the C.S. Lewis Academy soccer
team rebounded from an earlier loss and defeated Cascade Locks Thursday, 2-1.
The first meeting against these two teams ended with CSLA losing 4-2.
We outplayed them in every way, both defensively and offensively,
said C.S. Lewis coach Chris Guastaferro. I am extremely proud of our team,
especially as to how well we have been communicating on the field.
Goalie Jared Wright made his third consecutive penalty kick save in the win
as Ethan Headley scored his 11th goal of the season.
The Watchmen return to action with a 4 p.m. home game against Western
Mennonite on Tuesday. |
